Your Guide to Manual Handling Lifts
In any workplace, whether it’s in any industry, or construction project, manual handling aids play an important role in moving or supporting small objects. Every workplace has workers who must push, pull, lift, and carry materials. These are all examples of manual handling aids.
Many employees who are involved in manual handling tasks have reported strains and sprains for their back, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, and necks. The lifting risk assessment states that the risk of injury depends completely on the factors such as the size of the object, weight, shape, frequency, time, and the distance you are working for. In addition, your health, body condition, and strength play a part.
In order to reduce these strain and sprain injuries at the workplace, mechanical aids for manual handling can be used. Because safety is our top priority, we have come up with manual lifting aids, so that we can minimize all these risk factors at the workplace.
Use the Manual Handling Slings instead of your hands to avoid cuts, bruises and burns on sharp or hot metallic surfaces.
